About Me

CURRENT MISSION

sharing in the beauty that the world has to offer

ABOUT ME

We are a couple in our mid-twenties about to embark on a two month voyage about Europe in June/July of this year.

We enjoy good people, good food, good drinks and good times.

Zohab is a spoken word poet, he beatboxes with a harmonica and is known to play the didgeridoo... He will not be leaving Australia without either of them.

Lamisse is a youth worker with a passion for refugee rights and works with asylum seekers in Australia. She's spent way too long trying to finish her Arts degree (it's still not done) and she cooks a mean Egyptian feast.

Together we make a pretty smashing team, we're happy to sleep anywhere so long as you are cool with accommodating two of us!

And we will show you love and gratitude with music, poetry and food.

WE HAVE A EUROPEAN NUMBER: +3375 -1128-617
this can be used by hosts to contact us.

PHILOSOPHY

"Home is where the heart is, so leave a part of your heart wherever you roam, so that the world becomes your home."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Lamisse was hosted in Malaysia and it was a wonderful experience! We want to be able to reciprocate by hosting once we're back in Australia.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Lamisse: My host, Koo, took me to a beautiful hidden waterfall just off highway in Kuala Lumpur. After a ten minute trudge through the rainforest, we swam at the base of the waterfall as doctor fish nibbled at us, and butterflies flew around us. It was completely picturesque.

We were hosted by a group of anarchists at an Artist Squat in Paris, who had occupied a factory in town and turned into into a home/studio space.

We were hosted by a lovely couple, both involved in spoken word poetry, in the French city of Reims and they showed took us on a picnic to Champagne country!
