About Me

CURRENT MISSION

1) To live life and avoid the ominous "real world" for a little while longer 2) To make great memories with great people and experience as much as i can while im still young enough to get away with it 3) not to look back at the end of it all with regret

ABOUT ME

Easy going, open minded, I'm always up for a good party but at the same time i also enjoy just relaxing and meeting new people. I want to soak up as much culture as i can and try new things i normally wouldn't have the chance to try at home. I(try to) play guitar, sitar and didgeridoo and I've got my hopes set on becoming a paramedic after all my adventures are over so i can buy a house and host all the amazing people im hoping to meet! I just returned home from a 15 months epic that took me from Mexico down the Chile and then through northern India and Nepal and im already planning my next great escape through South east Asia, Europe and hopefully teaching English in Latin America.

PHILOSOPHY

"Its just a ride"- Bill Hicks

Nothing sums it up better- Life: its just a ride, and i want to enjoy ever second of it while enhancing the rides of others where i can...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now I'm back living with my folks to help save the extra cash but i am free most weekends for a coffee or trips to some of the places around mackay.

Interests

Well im 21 so a big five would be music, partying, girls, mates and gym (sorry not to break and stereotypes there) but lets face it, everyone loves these things for a reason- they're f*ckin awesome.
As far as my travel interests go, i am interested in anything and everything about different cultures and places- I'm just as happy in a raving nightclub to an interesting museum (that said in 15 months i got so sick of churches and museums i pretty much gave up on them towards the end...) to a secluded beach or mountain-top view.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite movies are Jacob's ladder, Requiem for a Dream and Fear and loathing in Los Vegas.

I love music! and i know everyone says that but i do, personally i listen to a lot of rock and a bit of metal but i love any kind of live music.

I read a fair bit and its pretty all over the place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rode motor-bikes through the Peruvian mountains from Cuzco to machu-picchu with a Chilean friend of mine... did either of us have a bike liscence? or even ridden a bike before? well... thats all just details...

I've done a few great things on my last trip but i wont list them all here- i am hoping that my best times are still ahead of me...

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Mexico, Nepal, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Venezuela
