Hi everyone! I am currently on tour after quitting my job in April 2015. I plan to take a year off to do some cycling, traveling, self-exploration and discovery. I realized the daily grind was not bringing me happiness, so I left to figure out what will. I am excited to meet locals while traveling and learn more about the culture and city. A little bit about me - I am respectful and always up for an adventure. I eat anything and everything and will try something twice in case the first day was an off day. Oh, and I'm really short, but my friends say I make up for it in personality - I'm 4' 11'' (150cm). I like exploring the history of places I visit while also enjoying the outdoors.

I like meeting other travelers to swap stories. While traveling, I'm interested in meeting local people to find hidden gems and learn more about the culture. I like talking to and learning about people who live in the places that I am visiting. Also, I'd love to meet a grandma in every country I visit to teach me how to cook a local dish. It doesn't have to be extravagant food just something that the family loves because it's grandma's cooking.

I am interested in history, food, and culture while traveling. Mostly, I like connecting with people. I also like outdoor activities like hiking and biking. I can also nerd out in the sciences and some fantasy books, etc.

For books I love the Harry Potter series and dystopia books like 1984. I alternate between non-fiction and fiction.
For movies, I like all comic-book movies, but am not particularly picky. As long as I don't feel like I've wasted my time, I will be happy watching it.
For music, I like all music really especially live music while hanging out with friends. On a plane or during transport, I tend to put on classic rock or bluegrass. Some favorites are ACDC, Greenday, Wood brothers, Johnny Cash, and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.

A homecooked meal :) I love to cook and think sharing food is a great way to make new friends. I have a very large family and my cousin and I always cook for everyone during the holidays. I'm sure I'm going to miss that while being abroad this year, so please let me cook for you :)
