About Me
🌍 About Me
Hi! I’m Amy from China. As a Capricorn born on December 31st, I’m a quiet yet cheerful soul who finds joy in simple moments and meaningful connections. While my English is still a work in progress, I’m learning enthusiastically—please kindly correct me if I stumble!
🏨 My Work
I work in hotel management, splitting my time between office tasks and hands-on store operations. Traveling doesn’t stop me—I often work remotely while exploring new places.
✨ My Passions
Travel isn’t just a hobby—it’s my way of life! I adore immersing myself in local histories, cultures, and cuisines. You’ll often find me:
- Wandering museums and quirky cafés
- Camping under starry skies (tent life enthusiast here! ⛺️)
- Hiking mountains solo for quiet reflection
- Sharing stories with fellow wanderers
🚗 My Home & Hospitality
If you visit my hometown in China, I’d love to host you! I’ll gladly:
- Cook authentic Chinese dishes
- Showcase hidden local gems
Let’s exchange cultural stories over homemade meals!
🌏 Travel Philosophy
I embrace slow, spontaneous journeys—sometimes staying weeks in one place. My plans often adapt to buses, work shifts, or serendipitous encounters. If I’m delayed or plans shift unexpectedly, I apologize in advance to hosts!
💬 Communication Style
While I may occasionally respond slowly due to travel fatigue or work, know this: I deeply value every connection. —if fate brings us together, I’ll cherish it!
🚩 Important Notes
1. Couchsurfing ≠ Dating: I’m here solely for cultural exchange and friendship.
2. Respectful Boundaries: I’m uncomfortable with physical contact—please respect personal space.
3. Zero Tolerance: Unwanted advances or inappropriate behavior will be reported immediately.
🌈 Closing Thoughts
Grateful for this platform to connect our global family! While I run a company in China, I dream of working worldwide someday. Let’s grow together through shared stories and kindness.
Looking forward to crossing paths in this big, beautiful home we call Earth!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet different people and learn about different cultures. Share stories with each other. Do something interesting together. It would be better if there were new friends who like camping, because I always worry that when I am alone, maybe I will be scared. But I prefer nature. In China, sometimes I wake up in the mountains, sometimes I camp next to a grave, and sometimes I always get close to nature like this.
Interests
💕about job:
Every girl is a unique angel of God👼 who came to the world, so I came too. You ask me what I like most, I can almost feel happy. At work, I will feel happy after working 18 hours, because I gain from work. The sense of accomplishment is something that love cannot give。
🎼🎤🎺about music:
I listen to music when I am sad or happy, it is soothing when I sleep, it is quiet when I take a shower, when I go clubbing, the music is like an earthquake, when I drive, it is usually DJ songs. Sometimes it is more like a friend who understands me, I am a crazy girl. I can change my personality at will, of course I can also sing and drink, but only occasionally.
🌸💐🌺about Flower Arrangement:
I like flowers and plants. Flower arrangement makes me quiet. I will raise some green plants and some flowers. I like to raise fish. There is always the sound of running water in my fish tank, which is my favorite sound. With the company of the fish, I will never feel lonely at any time.
🔖about books:
I am a girl who likes history and ancient poetry, and I like to collect books sometimes. It is a good friend of human beings。
🍂About religion:
Although I have not converted to Buddhism or Taoism, my love for them has not diminished. Almost whenever I have time, I will go to release animals. Giving quilts and food to homeless people makes me happy. Secondly, the Sanskrit chanting makes my heart feel very peaceful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One lives in a different country, with locals. Try to spend a long time in the sea, in the air, try to live in the wild. Try any new life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my country, my history, my travels, my work, my life, and I can teach you Chinese. I can help you with everything I know, don't worry.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have been traveling and I will share every interesting story I encounter. Of course, China is a big factory. It builds high-speed railways and highways very quickly. We build viaducts on cliffs and roads in tunnels. The Three Gorges Dam is a famous water conservancy project in China. Most countries like our electronic products in communication equipment, such as Huawei and Xiaomi. Some African and Middle Eastern countries come to China to import clothing, electrical appliances, and electronic machinery and equipment. China Yiwu Trade City sends them to all parts of the world. There are also many trams in China at present. We hope to be more energy-efficient. If you want to know more about China, I will tell you. If you need business negotiations or everything about goods, I will try my best to help you. Finally, I hope you can come to China one day. Welcome, we have enthusiasm, we have food, and we have fine wine. Welcome to taste. There are all kinds of different ethnic groups, all kinds of different clothes, and all kinds of different cultures here. China has a history of 5,000 years.
