I moved to San Jose, CA from Ohio a week after my high school graduation and lived in the bay area for about 3 years until I moved to San Diego. I lived in SoCal for about 3 years until I moved back to Ohio to finish my undergrad. I'm an aspiring neuroscientist with a double major in Biology (B.S.) and Psychology (B.A.). I'm a yogi and a make up lover, and I love exploring new places and meeting new people to expand my horizons!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Making new personal connections is one of the best things about a city, so why not try to take advantage of that as much as possible by staying with someone you're not yet friends with?
I love vegetarian and vegan foods, yoga, hiking, beaches, riding bikes, thrift shopping, and trying out new things!
- make up
- bungee jumping
- rock climbing
Music, Movies, and Books
Picking "Favorites" has always been tough for me, so I'll tell you what I'm listening to lately (as of 10 minutes ago). Alt-J's "Hunger of the Pine," Audrey's "You'll Lose a Good Thing," Nneka's "Heartbeat" (Chase & Status remix), and DJ Snake and AlunaGeorge's "You Know You Like It."
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I moved to California on my own at 18.
I scaled a near-vertical cliff lead climbing.
I jumped out of a plane from 13,000 feet over San Diego.
I bungee jumped off the Bridge to Nowhere in the San Gabriel Mountains outside of L.A.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd be happy to do some sun salutations with you, or show you how to make the perfect winged liner ;) Maybe you can show me that cool dive bar only locals know about, or that vegan food truck that pulls up on Friday nights.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Some really solid vegan recipes, how to perfect your down dog, and I'll bring my slackline!
