Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel everywhere, do everything, meet everyone, make everything, and hear every story.
ABOUT ME
Two nicknames I've gotten are Hippyster and Fly Flower. I think I'm way more hippy than hipster. And I can't be planted in the ground…but maybe in a pot on a bicycle riding down or in a backpack climbing up the path less traveled? Seems a little more fly.
PHILOSOPHY
Life isn't about monetary successes or staying on the straight path. It's about finding balance, staying active and engaged, and experiencing as much as you can in this blink of an eye we have on the planet. On the flip side, life is not short. Life is long. Live it with love.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Just getting started. Currently surfing, hopefully able to host in the near future!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've only surfed the couches of friends so far, and have befriended couch surfers that others have hosted. I'm so ready to get involved, I love the couch surfing concept!
Interests
Music and shows, biking, rock climbing, metal arts, arts in general, dancing, djembe playing, video and film projects (paid is nice, but let's be reel…), song singing, volunteerism, sushi, volleyball, tennis, swimming, the ocean, the mountains, the desert, cultures and languages, adrenaline, writing, 420 friendly (not participating now, but go for it!)
Way sooner than later I want to do a bike tour or five.

Music, Movies, and Books
EVERY kind of music (hold some annoying pop and over-produced new country), books-I love philosophical stuff of the introspective and buddhist variety, fun and off the cuff, basically all kinds. All kinds of movies (indies and documentaries are great, so are comedies). I'm into all varieties of everything. But my fave movie, no question, is Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail. Nee!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Volunteering in Ghana-enough stories in a month and a half for a year and a half, private tango in a dark, beautiful little bar in Buenos Aires, riding a bike taxi dancing around with boombox through the Decentralized Dance Party in Austin, TX, Spain, Italy, Austria, San Fran, where do I start? I just need to continue the journey!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you a little Ukrainian, a little Spanish (I'm conversational but not fluent in both), videography/film concepts, gardening and planting pots, share my love of music, dance, and artistic endeavors, cooking, interior design, photography, philosophy, sports (playing/doing way more than watching).
