Meeting new people everyday. Starting a business in the city of Detroit has it's ups and downs but life here is great. My goal is to travel a bit more this year and keep creating!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started hosting people from all over the world wanting to explore Detroit. A few other locals and I started the Detroit Couch Crash and set up unbelievable experiences for a weekend every year for hundreds of travelers. I look forward to keeping the community going participating where I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One of the best experiences from couchsurfing was going to the pacific northwest with no plan of where I was going to stay or where I was going or how I was getting there. I just wandered around finding hosts along the way and ended up getting a ride all the way down the coast, hanging out in Portland, camping in the redwoods, seeing San Fran and making it back to Seattle in time to fly home.

I used to run an independent art gallery and theater and have a deep love for the cinema, hard to pick just one! I tend to gravitate towards horror and sci-fi and anything with time travel as an element will interest me.

A group of friends and I bought an old school bus and fixed it up to take 20 people into the Black Rock Desert for Burning Man. The trip there was the most exciting part with many ups and downs including trading out for a new bus along the way.
