The help of kind strangers can make all the difference. In my experience traveling the country, I've found that friendly people and communities are everywhere but not always easy to find. What a great resource this is!

I was born in the Philippines and adopted into a navy family as a baby. Moving around a lot growing up has cultivated the inability to sit still.

Been growing roots out here in Portland for the past 10+ years. This town has been good to me, but I keep roots in many places.
