ABOUT ME

I'm an easy going, friendly and spontaneous person. I love to laugh, don't mind walking around in the rain. I love being outside in nature and I love animals, but I also enjoy the historic buildings and monuments in cities all over Europe. Originally from South Africa, I am currently working as an au pair in the Netherlands and I am almost setting off on an interrail trip with my friend Carin (https://www.facebook.com/carin.strauss?fref=ts). So I am unable to host at the moment, but once I'm back in South Africa I would love to set you up with a couch!

Interests

I have just started, but I already love travelling.
Just relaxing while reading a good book and listening to music.
I enjoy participating in a variety of sports, unfortunately I don't really have time for it at the moment, but I can't wait to get started again!
I am an animal lover and at home (in South Africa) I live on a farm with a variety of animals.
I really love being outside appreciating the beauty of nature...

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to movies, music and books. I will listen, read and watch basically everything! Although I must admit I'm not a huge fan of horror films...

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you English and Afrikaans and also some South African cooking if you want...
I would love to learn new languages, learn how to cook some dishes unique to a country and basically absorb as much as I can about the culture and history of a specific place...
