About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see and do as much as I can before I move on
ABOUT ME
I am still trying to figure out exactly who I am, like the rest of us (if we are honest). I like to suck the marrow out of life, and taste as much of this life as I can. That said, I have my preferences, and they are many. I love nature tremendously, and that is usually the focus of my adventures. I love other cutures and enjoy exploring and learning about them. I love big cities and the density of energy they have. Above all, I love traveling and meeting new people.
PHILOSOPHY
Carpe Diem, as cliche as that is, pretty much sums me up. I want to do something every day with my time here. I don't do well with just doing nothing, as I'm keenly aware of the irreversible passage of time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I look forward to the opportunities CS can provide me to learn about myself and others, and to further human understanding. The best part of traveling for me over the years has been meeting people in Hostels and sharing in that energy. I think CS takes this idea further.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been doing the couch surfing thing unofficially for years, and was stoked to see this project exists! I have picked up my share of hitchhikers across the rocky mountains and camped with them. I've met random Europeans traveling my country and joined them in their travels in order to show them my country. I've had many people visit from overseas and stay with me that I had met previously, and I have stayed on many a couch in the same manner. I have really enjoyed meeting others in my travels and taking the same road together for a while.

Music, Movies, and Books
Wow, I can't fit this here. I had an older sister who was the station manager at one of the top college radio stations back in the 80's.....so when the other kids were listening to top 40, in fourth grade I was listening to burgeoning American Hardcore and Alternative. Thanks Aimee. Lets see, Old School Jazz and Blues, Johnny Cash, Hardcore, Joy Division, Jimi Hendrix, and too much modern stuff to list.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This list is too long, but the point of CS is to add to it.
Teach, Learn, Share
This is cool, I like learning and teaching too. I can fix almost anything, sort of MacGyver style. I like to cook and love to exchange ideas in that arena. Bikes......I can tell you most anything you want to know. I love to learn anything, so whatever you know, I want to know.
