ABOUT ME

I am a friendly 28 year old woman who is easy to get on with. I'm always talkative (except maybe after 24 hours of sleepless travel, lol). I am always keen to learn something about the place I'm staying and explore the area. So far I have been trying to work my way around Australia but due to the high cost here I have had to work more than I would have liked but met some amazing people in doing that.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to accept everyone for exactly who they are, good and bad, and would hope that others do too. I am not into gossip (having spent a lot of time in small towns I see how dominant it can be, craziness!) and am pretty easy going about most things if I'm honest. Appreciate upfront people who say things as it is especially if I am staying with them and there is an issue of some sort.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to couch surf as I was just recently introduced to it by a friend. Hoping to be able to see the other side of places by staying at a residence place and also hoping said resident would have some great insider knowledge of the best places to go (and maybe even be company?).

Interests

I enjoy lots of different things and always keen to get some education on the places I am staying. I like to think I am well read and love movies too. If the person I stayed with wanted a night on the town or just chill out and get to know each other I would be absolutely fine with either. In the same respect, although I'm sure it's rare, if the host just wants to host and not build a friendship then I understand that too and would be grateful for the couch.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of movies (except horrors) particularly things that are thought provoking or real like stories. Music again I have a diverse taste but do appreciate something that I can dance to as I love to dance. Usually go for urban music as it had to best beats and rhythms to move to. As for books I like to read anything that is recommended to be, currently working through 'the book thief' and I must say it is an excellent piece of writing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have done was just up and leaving an unhappy life where I was earning ok money to live a cheap but fulfilling life. Starting in Australia and hopefully the world. Hehe.

Teach, Learn, Share

The main thing I would say to my traveller friends is keep an eye on discount websites eg groupon as I have not paid full price for a hair cut in a very long time. These places have things for everyone so keep an eye out!!
