About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Taking everyday as an adventure, making memories and meeting some pretty stellar people along the way.
ABOUT ME
I currently work as a volunteer in Belfast, Northern Ireland. My time is spent working with youth at a church and community center. I also spend a great deal of time visiting with the elderly. My job is completely wicked, I get to hang out with people, have awesome conversations, listen to brilliant stories, and laugh a ton!
Being Active.!Running! When i was in school I played sports but since that chapter has closed I've taken to running. I ran my first marathon in 07 (disney world, totally awesome the characters line up along the path) and I just completed the Belfast City Marathon. I love the challenge of the distance and it's a great way to get to know an area.
Future..Well not quite sure where I am going, or what I am doing but I like the adventure of the unknown. I think when i decide to finally get a real job i'd like to be a director of community service for a university..arranging opportunities for youth to get involved and connected to the community around them. Or maybe open a coffee shop and bakery because I love coffee and baking!!!
PHILOSOPHY
Smile and the World Smiles With You.
"Do your little bit of good where you are; it's those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world." Desmond Tutu
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've couched surfed twice while traveling with my friends and it was an amazing experience... So I am super stoked to finally have the opportunity to host people myself!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Traveled to Amsterdam and Brugge with friends and surfed along the way. The best part about couch surfing was just chilling out with our host, getting to know about each other and just learning about the areas we were in and their quirks.
