Normal laid back 25 year old who appreciates a good sense of humour. I discovered couchsurfing while I was traveling in 2008 and I'm so glad that I did.

...and despite where couchsurfing says I'm logging in from, I definitely don't live in Greenford, West Drayton or Isleworth. Not sure why couchsurfing does that!?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The last leg of my 2008 big trip was to go overground from LA to New York in just over 2 months. I was on my own and as it was the end of my trip I was on a very tight budget. I didn't think it would possible.... thankfully this amazing website came to the rescue!

I had such a brilliant time and made so many friends who are all welcome in London anytime. I loved seeing America (and Toronto) from the locals' perspective instead of from a hostel full of Brits! Obviously I saved a fortune but most importantly I enjoyed the incredible hospitality and generosity of everyone I surfed with. If I did it again now with all the money in the world I wouldn't change a thing
....ok, well maybe just the Greyhound journeys - they weren't very fun!

Interesses

Any sport (especially football). Eclectic/indie music. Travel. And errrm just going down the pub!

Pretty much anything (except metal and gangster rap!)... Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, Arctic Monkeys, the Beatles, Blur, Arcade Fire, Flight of the Conchords (New Zealand's 4th most popular digi-folk parody duo). Also smaller English bands like Maccabees, the Cribs, Mystery Jets etc
