ABOUT ME

Sitting down and writing about myself does not come so easily, however I can easily pour my heart out to strangers over a drink, a meal, a walk, or just a random bus ride. I believe I have a lot to learn about the world and about myself and I think that travelling and meeting people through CS will help me grow as a person.

I have spent the majority of my life in the same small city and this past year I was seriously considering opening my own cake shop here. In the fall I took a trip to Toronto to study under an amazing Canadian cake designer. While there I met some great people from Spain taking English courses. Spending time with them inspired me to go to Europe myself and experience travelling solo. I decided that I would never be satisfied with myself here in Yellowknife if I did not first get out on my own and see the world.

Right now I am living and working in Nice, France. I plan to stay here at least until September 2009.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met up with couch surfers for drinks, for a walk around their city, for dinner, and to sleep on their couch. I think CS is a fantastic idea and so far all of my CS experiences have been great. I'm really excited to start hosting once I settle down in own spot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing a mountain when i was 16 in British Columbia was one of the more amazing things I have done. I have never seen anything more beautiful and felt more accomplished than in those two weeks.
