PHILOSOPHY

you don't need to "have" time, but to take it!

(in fact this philosophy sounds better in my mother tongue, in German: "Zeit muss man nicht haben, sondern sich nehmen"...)

for me this philosophy implicates a lot about the meaning of everyones personal life and about priorities taken in life: I think it is far more important to take everything out of the moment and really try to live happily instead of constantly making yourself a bad conscience with thoughts about the consequences of actions taken in the present on the future...

I met many amazing people through this great platform.
I simply love CS for the possibility of getting the most out of cultural exchange, and that it's based on the strong believe that people in general are trustworthy

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfing at different places gives you a much deeper insight into the places you're staying. CS is so much more than just a cheap way of travelling - it is kind of different philosophy about people and travels in total!
Whoever thinks CS is about staying somewhere for free completely missunderstood the whole concept!

Interessi

people - meeting my friends and also getting to know new people, their views, attitides and cultures.

*Music: mainly Indie Rock, Alternative and Electro. A short list of bands I really like: Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Aecade Fire, Placebo, the XX, Radiohead, Massive Attack, Archive, ...

*Books: I My high time favourite is Milan Kundera, with his gorgeous book "the unbearable lightness of being". I read this book I don't know how many times, in German and in French... simply love it.
Other authors I like: Haruki Murakami, Michel Houellbecq, Henning Mankell,...

*Movie: independent films
