Never being too old for new discoveries. Enjoying the moment, making meaningful friendships, learning the guitar, practicing dance, adapting to life abroad.
I can sometimes be described as a chameleon, I adapt well to new surroundings, new places, new cultures, new languages, and new outlooks on life. But at the same time I work on not only taking in what new places offer but also making and effort to share what my point of view has to offer. Life is full of exchanges, and I live off of it! I am sure to bring a sincere smile to your life. I am a good listener, I can be calm and collected but can also break out in dance and laughter...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have surfed and hosted! I search hosts when I embark on a new city and many of my hosting experiences have been though my housemates accounts but that does mean I don't know how to welcome a traveler !
Met lots of amazing people, also met some who take advantage of such the couchsurfing community. But overall helps me feel more at home while traveling and makes me feel helpful when hosting.
Discovering new ways of expression and exchange. Music, dance, dialogue, traveling etc.
Music, Movies, and Books
I really bad a describe genres of music, but dreamy, down tempo electronic music is what tickles my fancy in the moment. I also can dig a good hip hop and or rnb beat. I like to listen to French rap to help me get better with new expressions, rhymes, slang etc. I also want to discover more hip hop music from my hometown area, West coast USA.
To categorize the types of books and movies I like, I'd say I like kid movies with an cute moral behind it all. Alice in Wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, House on Mango Street, Le Petit Prince etc. I admire the beauty of youth and want to keep my mind and my eyes open wide when discovering the world :-)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Nothing, I am boring.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teaching, learning and sharing cannot exist independently of each other. With teaching you are also accepting to listen and to learn from your "students". Learning something is useless unless you share it. Exchange is what makes the world go round !
What I Can Share with Hosts
A smile and an open mind.
