My name is Lara, I am 23 years old.
I am from Braunschweig in Germany, going to live in Australia for a year. I will start my journey as a work-and-traveller in April 2015.
Before, I used to be a trainee bank clerk in my hometown Braunschweig.

I have lived a rather conventional live until now - german Abitur, trainee bank clerk, bank clerk for about a year.
Now, I really am so tired of this and I have always felt a bit out of place.
So I quit my job, bought myself a backpack and in April 2015, I will start travelling Australia for a year (yeah, not exactly unconventional either, but it's a start and I am rather excited :D).
I am really open and am interested in all kinds of conversations.
After my work-and-travel year, I wish to study business psychology, so I love to hear various opinions and storys, especially if it is more than smalltalk.
I hope to meet many interesting people and since I get started alone, I am even more interested in getting to know you! :)

My favourite hobby is sports and fitness - indoors, outdoors, whatever! I love to try everything related to sports, but strength training remains my favourite.
My remaining free time, I spend with friends and my boyfriend.
I enjoy travelling, of course, and was lucky to see many places the last few years, from camping near Rome to living in a ridiculouly luxurious hotel in AbuDhabi.
