Hi fellow couchsurfers!
I am new to couchsurfing.com. I am half turkish, half Hungarian/Romanian. Currently I'm living in Cologne/Germany and I am working on my portfolio to apply to study fine art this year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm going to visit Thailand soon and I am looking forward to explore the Thai culture, landscape and cuisine, and to meet many locals and other fellow travelers on my way.

Interests

I love to draw and paint, and do a lot of sports (ballet, volleyball, skiing and surfing). If I'm not drawing I'm probably reading, playing guitar or watching something trashy like friends. I'm also a big animal-friend and love to have conversations with interesting people.

Books: I love Paolo Coelho's books, Siddarta by Hermann Hesse, Sofie's World by Jostein Gaarder, Purity by Jonathan Franzen, The unbearable lightness of being by Milan Kundera, Snow by Orhan Pamuk, I am also a big fan of Kafka :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ooh hard to say but here are three that pop up in my mind: helping at a shelter for stray dogs in my hometown in Turkey, roadtrip through Eastern Europe summer 2017, night-swimming with bioluminescent plankton.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a little Turkish or German (or even English) and I cook some good Turkish and international dishes. I'd love to learn more about your language and culture! If you're interested in music we could jam together (I could teach you a few things on the guitar, and vice versa if you play any instruments ).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to share my experiences with you, and learn more about your hometown! Of course you would be very welcome to come to Cologne and I'll show you around the city or some of the neighboring big cities.
