ABOUT ME

I'm from the coastal part of Slovenia and I grew up speaking Italian. I work in marketing while I translate occasionally.
As a person, I am very outgoing and sociable. I'm positive you always find something interesting in everybody :) so basically I'm a glass-half-full kind of person.

I'm quite adventurous, I try to push my limits. I love the rush, the high.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosted a few times and loved it. We got to spend some time together, went to the beach, out to eat, wine tasting... I really love meeting people while traveling and sharing life experiences, CS stories etc. I feel like the more people you meet and the more you learn, the better and more accomplished as a person you get.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have some experience with CS. I started CS when I went to Lisbon through a friend of mine from Poland, that I'd met on Erasmus in Seville...
I actually didn't know anything about it until she introduced me to it.
It was awesome!
Until now I've hosted about a dozen people and they were great guests, loved meeting them and showing them my city.
I also traveled all around USA and all these exeriences were incredible, we bonded so much and became friends with the hosts... CS is definitely an experience to treasure.

Interests

I've always been a big fan of sports and I love basically all kinds of sports. I'm a trained tracker and soccer player...but although I try to stay out of trouble, there's always some injury following me around :) but I get over it fast (most of the time)

Foosball, ping pong, bowling, volleyball, paintball :)...

I love karaoke...not that I am that good a singer, but I love it, which drives all my friends nuts every time I propose a karaoke evening :)

Love animals :) and I have a beautiful Border collie, named Miracle (or Miki)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - everything from action movies to romantic comedies, dramas to thrillers...

I am a huge fan of two TV shows in particular: Friends and Castle, but I love other shows like Game of Thrones, Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, How to Get Away With Murder, Bones, The Big Bang Theory, Modern Family, etc.

I like classics and I also read crime mistery novels; the Dan Brown, James Patterson, Agatha Christie type of books.
I love listening to all kinds of music, from pop to rock, from classical to house...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2 road trips around the States with my girlfriends

A safari trip across East Africa... got to see 4 out of the Big Five, snorkled at the beautiful Lake Malawi beaches and finished the trip by bungee jumping off of the Victoria Falls bridge 😀 an absulutely incredible experience!
