I am Lara from Brazil, just graduated from law school, saw a cheap plane ticket to Argentina and now I am going there to spend 5 weeks. Until now I am planning to stay a week in Buenos Aires, I will workaway in the north for 2 weeks and I am willing to go to Bolivia, visit the salar.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had some couchsurf experience during my time in Europe and it was the best! I am really happy that nowadays its possible to connect with people in the way that CS does.
I did CS in Paris, but my host deleted his account.
Also did it in Barcelona and in Italy- staying with friends of friends.
i love to travel and discover new places and cultures but when I stop to think about the trips I made the greatest memories are all about the people I met.

Interests

For me life is all about the connexions we make. I am passionate about meeting new people and discovering who they are, so I am always in the mood to have a beer or a glass of wine (my fav) or to share a meal and talk about ourselves and our interests.
I love movies that make me cry and I have many favs that are guilty pleasures.
I once was a voracious reader, nowadays I am trying to find time to finish the books I start.
When I first complete my profile here in 2016 I said "I like to eat, but sorry I am a TERRIBLE cooker, like the worst ever" - I still love to eat, but I dont think I am a terrible cooker, just a very limited one. I can cook a very small variety of dishes. My deserts are good, and I learned how to cook risotto and pasta with my italian roommate. I would love to learn a new dish!

As a kid I only listened to Avril Lavigne, today I am much more into indie and pop music. I can show you lots of brazilian music.
I once was obsessed with Harry Potter , but my favorite author now is Milan Kundera, I even has a tattoo based in one of his books.
My favorite movies are: Les MIs, MOulin Rouge, 500 days of summer, Anna Karenina , Les chansons d'amour and I never watched MoonLight but that Oscar should've gone to LA LA Land
