Hello my name is Larbi and I am a 25 year old nurse from the Netherlands / Holland. As a kid I always wanted to travel the world so here I am. I am a possitive about the fact that a possitive mind in combination with a hard working mentality will achieve most of the goals you have set for yourself! I have been in Australia now for 9 months now and have traveld to most of the big cities, but my travels really starts now since I only worked so far. My last stop in Australia will be Tasmania as my next journey will be through new-zeeland and south east asia. When you have the time, you have to expierence everything right?

I think humor is very important. I know you can't be happy and positive all of the time, but laughter makes thinks a bit easier and less grey. That is why I spend most of my time with my best friends, and familie back home. They are also the most important part of my life.

I am also a very clean person. I don't like to make a mess out of things. Ofcourse I respect that everyone has 'order in their own chaos', and don't judge anyone, but I will always clean after myself. For example if I use dishes, I clean them up right away.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've first experienced couchsurfing in Australia and I loved it! Before I always stayed in hostels, and it's not the same in my opinion. Through couch surfing I met so many different people with great stories to tell. You share your experience, tips and before you know it some evens grow into friends. I also went to a couch surf meeting in Melbourne where I met all kind of diffrent couch surfers who I spoke about their expierence, and that thrives me to do this even more. Currently I are trying to find a friendly host in Japan to make my couch surf experience even better!

Interests

Aside from my passion for traveling, there are two others interests I have.

1. Food!! It may be sound weird to understand, but I am not only traveling for seeing other cultures and countries. I am very passionate about trying all kind of new food that I never tried too! Also there are all kind of kitchens that we have back home that I want to try at the place of orgin. Such as Sushi!

2. My other passion that awakened since two years is photography. It relaxes me very much to walk around in the nature and take pictutes with my camera of wildlife. But also taking shots of cities, friends etc. Every shot you make represents a memory of your life. Hahahq it may sound deep but it's true.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite movies are the hunger games series. It really resembles how the modern society is these days. Aside from that (haha how can it be any other way) like comedy movie. One of my favourites is white chicks with the wayne brothers.

I also watch tv serie Game of Thrones.

And I enjoy my animes. One piece is my personal favourite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the my most amazing things I have seen so far is the beauty of Rome in Italy. It was my first vaccation away from home on my own. To tast another country and culture for the very first time is amazing. I would reccomand anyone to go there. Another amazing thing to see is the Great Ocean Road! It's beautiful there. Something you have to see if you're in Australia!
