to be CONSCIOUS and WISE
I like to share, to keep things cheap and simple and I love to dress up, to invent games with the most ordinary things and to laugh about absurd jokes.
I would say that I am a simple person, I am happy when people smile at me and one short nice encounter with a stranger on the street can make my day!
I am interested in people´s lifestories, I like to talk and to listen. Sometimes I just wanna be alone, but generally I would describe myself as pretty sociable.
I like my life chaotic as it is and sometimes have problems to keep it just at a minimum organised but in the end, things always work out.
All in all, I guess I am easily satisfied, the most joyful thing for me is to see happy people but I can also handle sadness and melancholy.
Il faut passer par la tristesse pour arriver au bonheur.
Lonliness is the key to personal developpement.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surfing, hosting, talking, smiling, organising, taking, giving, sharing.
Let´s see where it goes... ;-)
I love what I study: French and German. I am incredibly interested in the history of language, even more in the history of literature and I have a neverending passion for spoken french. Spending hours in my room studying can be just a perfect day for me, cause I love to learn in general, but still I´m not a freak :-)
Another interest of mine is the phenomenon of migration: What makes people leave their country? What are their experiences? And how does the second and third generation feel about it, where do they see their place in the world? I believe it´s a complex subject.
Overmore, at the moment I´m incredibly interested in everything that is turkish: music, culture, geographie, history, even politics!
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Fatih Akin, Jim Jarmush, Thomas Vinterberg, Lars von Trier, (sometimes) Quentin Tarantino, Pedro Almodóvar, Michael Haneke. But i also enjoy austrian films from the 50s, 60s!!! I adore Hans Moser and Peter Alexander - and of course the sissi-trilogy!! Love it :-)
And recently I have a passion for "nonsens-films", like "Rubber" for example.. And - of course - french movies are great :-)
Music: Anything that is not rock or pop or metal.. pretty everything else than that :-)
Books: I used to literally HATE reading. I really tried hard, but I always fell asleep. Now I found out, that I read the wrong books. You don´t become fond of literature by reading Goethe, Platon or books about the conflict in the Middle East. Now I gave up trying to educate myself and I read for fun. And well, it CAN really be fun.
