ABOUT ME

I love to travel a lot, discover new places, especially new people. I am a carpenter/timber framer and I am mainly interested in how people live and more precisely, how they build their houses! When I travel, I pay a lot of attention to the constructions and I am always happy to learn about local techniques and materials.
For the rest, I think I have a quiet way of life. I like to have time for myself (to read, to write, to listen to music or to knit), I don't like to be too much in a noisy place with excited people (however, I can be a real chatterbox sometimes).
To be happy, I need a lovely place outside, not too sunny, a good book and a glass of red wine. =) So if you live in beautiful place, I'll be happy to sleep on your couch!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have a lot of experience, I already hosted one couch surfer and it was a great meeting! I've also been hosted by several people during my travels and it was always nice.

Centres d'intérêt

As I said, my favorite subject of conversation in construction! I am very happy to meet other builders and learn about their craft. I am mostly curious about alternative constructions and natural materials.
I am also a big reader, I am interested in natural medicines, animal protection, sport, communal lives, squatting communities, knitting, flowers, wood sculpture, veganism, learning new languages...

I can show you how to cook really strange but delicious meal; I can talk about books, literature and philosophy during ages; I can teach you French if you want to learn it and I know a bit about wood... I like to teach to someone if this person teach me something back!
