About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to go visit the lower 48 so I can decide where to move to next!

ABOUT ME
I am a free spirit (who isn't here if we are offering our couches to total strangers). I have a silly sense of humor, Airplane is my favorite movie, so you can feel free to judge me solely on that information. I'm a happy person who loves learning about other cultures, especially foreign expressions. I have been living in Canada for the last four years and as of recent (2016) am back in my hometown and ready to host and explore once again.

PHILOSOPHY
When life smacks you across the face, calmly get up, dust yourself off, look at life in the face and say, "you hit like a bitch".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've only hosted one person and then my roomie nixed the idea... new roomie and she is totally down with the couch surfers idea!!! So I am back to offer my couch and Puerto Rican food to the masses!!! Right now I'm only accepting females as it is my roommates preference, and we won't be ready to host until late November 2016 due to prior engagements.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've only hosted one person, but hope to host more. I also have a trip coming up in October and hope to stay on someones awesome couch.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Kaleo. Sia. Imagine Dragons!MUSE!!! Old school cheesy 80's music (Peter Cetera and things of that nature).
Movies: Airplane, Spaceballs, Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail, Dumb and Dumber ect...
Books: Works of Poe, Bukowski, When you Give a Mouse a Cookie, anything written by a female comedian.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked 911 in the worst parts of Los Angeles. I have seen the limelight and the horror that this city offers. I have saved lives and had my life almost taken by this city. Nothing surprises me at this point.

I have traveled to Japan, and that in itself was awesome.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy learning from people that fly by the seam of their pants... people that live life not caring what others think about them.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Local underground soul music scene.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Japan, Mexico, Puerto Rico, United States
