I'm a German-American artist looking to explore the world. I keep a tidy life, and am always looking to meet new people. I was raised in America, but started traveling at a young age due to being first generation, and my parents wanting to visit their parents. I think that's a common theme on this site, a bunch of people who caught the travel bug young. And therefore all of us having a different perspective on how big/small the world really is.

I could talk for HOURS about why we're on this planet, why we're in these bodies, the meaning of life, etc. Have you see then video where Elon Musk talks about his theory that this is all just a simulation? Fascinating! Haha I love how I've turned this "about me" section into a rapport as if you're already there on the other side of the screen. But, alas, still just me, typing.

I love to cook, and I try to uphold a somewhat vegan lifestyle. Although when I'm traveling it doesn't become my priority. When traveling, I'll definitely still dip into the fish and cheese, but I don't party with the other animal products. Although if you party with them, no worries!

I'm also very into astrology, Freakonomics, writing, theatre and film.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To explore new perspectives while also exploring new places. Meeting new people is the best part about traveling, and the Couchsurfing community seems like the perfect place to get involved with that.

I never know why this is, but my favorite song has always been "Drops of Jupiter" by Train. I think it's because it's a song that always gets tossed on the radio, and I would listen to the radio a lot in my car, so I quickly learned all the lyrics (or my version of what I thought the lyrics were).

Favorite play right now is HIR by Taylor Mac.

Favorite movie right now is Zootopia (seriously).

Favorite "I'm trying to impress you" movie right now (but I actually still really like it) is The Lobster.
