About Me

Hello Spain, we are Liss and Liv!

Together we are walking the Camino de la Norte and looking for kind people to host us and share your culture.

Liss (Larissa):
I'm creative, open-minded, and spontaneous. After graduating from high school, I lived in Sweden for 8 months as a volunteer. Before going back home I backpacked around Europe via Interrail. Now I'll start school to become a costume designer and want to go on one last adventure.

Liv:
I graduated from high school last year and took a gap year. Before I am going to study in atum, I wanted to do a last trip to clean my head and decide between studying architecture and art.
Also I am an open minded person and I'm looking forward to meet lovely people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since we want to travel on a low budget and most Albergues have become very expensive and commercial Couchsurfing allows us to travel more like pilgrims. As students we can't afford a hostel every single day and also we prefer to stay with locals. We feel like this is how traveling (and living in general) should be: human, authentic, and with plenty of opportunities to connect.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Camino is probably the most challenging journey both of us have ever taken on, so I would say: this trip!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Language exchange: We're native Germans and we can practice with you, if you're interested.
If you allow us to use your kitchen we can cook for all of us! We're both vegetarian and it's hard to find vegetarian food in Spain if you're on the road.
If you'd like, remind us to sketch your portrait, we're both good at drawing. :))

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, Sweden
