About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I hope to learn and explore through my travels and interactions with everyone I meet.

ABOUT ME

I love to explore new places and learn about lifestyles different from my own. I enjoy being outdoors and challenging myself to try new things.

PHILOSOPHY

It's all about fun and fulfillment. If you're not enjoying yourself, something has got to change.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope to help people enjoy my home and invite them to join me in my community. By conversing with people I hope to learn about their cultures and build relationships with everyone I meet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't couch surfed yet, but I have met some people who my friends have hosted, and they inspired me to join the community so that I can continue to meet exciting people from all over the world.

Interests

I love the outdoors, including running, hiking, biking, snowboarding, kayaking, swimming, and many other outdoor activities. I love a good read or a day full of knitting. I really love being near water. I love a nice warm tea on a cold day or a cool lemonade on a hot one. Most of all, I love being around people who are loving and have a positive attitude.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Puerto Varas, Chile, I went canyoning. It combines cliff jumping, swimming, body surfing, hiking, and rock climbing in a running river. It was one of the most amazing things I ever tried.

Teach, Learn, Share

A good headband is one of the most useful traveling items. It can be dipped in water and cool you off on a hot day, it can function as a bandage in a sticky situation, or it can be used to hide dirty hair when you're in need of a shower.
