About Me

I like new experiences and meeting new people, even though I'm a bit shy and not talkative at all. I like to meet people who are talkative and have experiences to share. I am very open minded but I have strong opinions and that can make stubborn something or getting in arguments with someone. I am a feminist so I would be really uncomfortable with a sexist person. I can be quiet and very excited some times. I think there is time for everything so some times I wanna go out, travel and be adventurous but other times I wanna be quiet and stay at home.

I love reading and sometimes drawing but my passion is history! that is something I would love to talk about even though I know about only certain topics. But if you want to talk about religion, I am not the person you should talk to, we would probably end up having an argument but that doesn't mean I won't respect your religion or you. It just makes me uncomfortable but I have nothing against it.

I think my second passion would be make up. I am looking forward to take classes, I think it is so amazing how it can totally change the way you look. I like the idea of being able to look different (even like someone else) every time. If you're into make up, you gotta show me your cosmetics!
I like to travel as well but trips are always so tiring haha. I have not been to many places, I hope to do that in the future. I lived in a small town near Sao Paulo until I was 12 or 13 and then I moved to India, to live in an even smaller town called Indore. It was a shock, everything is totally different here but we slowly near to adapt to the place. I am 18 now and I am moving to Canada for college. I am pretty excited to stay on my own and I'm hopeful that I will meet amazing people from all over the world.

I also like to learn languages but my memory is pretty bad and I am a slow learner plus my accent probably suck. I know a little bit of French and Hindi and can totally understand Spanish but definitely not speak it!

Oh, I love tattoos and piercings as well! that is another thing I would love to talk about, especially if you have any.

If you are sport person, we would get along well. I like to workout a lot though I am a bit lazy. I prefer lifting weights then doing cardio but if I have to, I will do it. Unless it is in the morning, you can forget it then. I am not a morning person.
I like adventurous and outdoors sports but I haven't done it much.

I like to go out a loot, especially to parties or dinner parties. I am totally up for that. No surprise, I like shopping as well and it is great when you have company and even better if the person has the same taste! however, nothing beats food. I love to eat. I like Japanese, Italian and Indian food the best. But I am up to try something new! Maybe not chinese, I'm not into chinese food so much. If you're vegetarian, we probably would not survive together. I love meat, especially red and pork! India was tough in the start because of that haha.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My uncle actually told me about it, he used to host.
I like the whole idea of couch surfing, it is nice to know there are so many people ready to open their home, willing to share their space with a total stranger.
I won't be hosting, I will be living on campus but when I get a place of my own I would definitely do it.

Interests

Reading books, mainly history books. I enjoy learning about dictatorship and Communism.
I like to workout as well, I enjoy more weight lifting than cardio. My nightmare is jogging! haha.
I also love pets, if I could afford I would totally take in all the stray dogs to take care of them.
in terms of subjects I like history, geography and environmental sciences and I hate math, physics, chemistry and biology.
I like a lot to watch movies and series with friends. Especially horror movies.
I loove amusement parks, I love the rides and the adrenaline.

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly listen to everything. But I would prefer to listen to something other than Hip Hop and country music. I don't listen to music much, just when I have to jog haha or going somewhere.
I don't think I have a favorite book but I liked Anne Frank, The Book Thief, 100 years of solitude, my history books on women in the Gulag and Nazi society. I am currently reading Dona Flor and her two husband and the Secret life of Fidel Castro, I am a slow reader and I lose my concentration very quickly so it will be a while until I finish them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Portuguese and a little of French and Hindi but anything else I would suck at. So much goes in my mind that when it comes to express an opinion or explain something I just get stuck with words and people end up not understanding a thing I said.
I like learning but it has to be something of my interest otherwise I can't concentrate for too long haha. I would love to learn new languages and history! I think philosophy is pretty cool but it is just too much for me.
I like more when people share something with me and then if it is related to what we are talking about, I will share something, either an opinion or experience. Or if I am asked to share. Otherwise I feel a bit reluctant to share, I am not sure why but I think it is because it might make me feel embarrassed or not accepted or it is just lame.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can everything that you may need or want. You can drink and eat whatever you want but I'm not a good cook so we might have an issue.... I would love if you knew how to cook well.
When I am able to host just ask me about the things you need, like toothbrush, pillows and blankets, I will try arranging everything for you.
