About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live as fully as possible and enjoy the things life throws at me. I love working in the museum field. As an emerging scholar and hopeful grad student, I am doing my best to juggle all the amazing opportunities I have with work, family, and friends.
ABOUT ME
I'm a Navajo woman and a recent Notre Dame graduate. I am an independent art history scholar with a focus on Native contemporary art. I enjoy infusing my life with culture, people, art, music, and traveling. I recently finished up an amazing fellowship at the Minnesota History Center and will hopefully be starting another at the Minneapolis Institute of Art.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I live in Gainesville, FL (for the moment). I haven't used Couchsurfing in many years (since 2011) but I am looking forward to starting again now that I am back on the conference trail and will be starting a grad program soon (hopefully).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I started my Couchsurfing experience when I was stranded in Detroit, Michigan after I missed my bus. It was a rough 4-5 hours but luckily the Couchsurfing community was more than welcoming and helpful. Since then I've been involved in traveling and being hosted by various couch surfers. I would love to get more involved and host as soon as I am able.

Teach, Learn, Share
Native people are still here! We have lived on this land since time immemorial and it is my passion to work towards Indigenous rights and justice
