I'm a young first-time Couchsurfing user, keen on exploring the world. I'm going to start studying medicine at the University of Bern this autumn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to see new places and meet new people, that's basically it. Plus it's always nice having a local contact and the price is a factor as well, as a student.

Interests

I play the drums, being focused primarily on jazz music. But I listen to many types of music and am always open to something new. I'm interested in culture generally and would like to see those parts of a country's culture which are difficult to encounter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Staying in Peru for 3 months was amazing. I've done some spectacular trips like hiking the rainbow mountain, one of the most exhausting things I've ever done. Seeing the cultural and structural differences between countries is always interesting and was especially stunning in this case. I didn't get around as much as I would have liked to, but I hope I can repeat that eventually.
