My name is Lars, I am 21 years old and I study in the Netherlands. Through my university I got the chance to study one semester in Canada which I did until April. Since then I'm traveling through North America with the goal to make many new experiences, as it is my first trip outside of Europe.

My favourite band is called Parcels, although I enjoy a range of different genres.

I enjoy reading a mix of nonfiction and fiction, specifically the Harry Potter books which I binge every once in a while.

My favourite movies include Gladiator, Harry Potter (3), and The Book of Eli.

I have been to 7 baseball stadiums in 13 days through the help of the amazing couchsurfing community. I have met a lot of good people along the way and this website has helped me to see the cities that I visited from a more local perspective, providing me with insights into the history and treasures of various North American cities.
