My name is Lars, and i am friendly,, open-minded guy from Germany. I am rather quiet at the beginning and in bigger groups, but I warm up after a while and am also a pretty good listener.

I am studying at the university in Magdeburg at the moment and using most of my free time to go around the world to see new things and meet new people.

I prefer nature to big cities and like hiking through new landscapes and seeing new places. In Germany I play soccer and table tennis, but because of my studies and my travels I didn't have too much time for it lately. I always wanted to learn surfing and diving, but didn't have the opportunity yet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is an easy and uncomplicated way to meet new friends and cultures abroad and help you to save money.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of different music :) Especially to German "Schlager" but as most people find it disgusting, I won't bother you with it :D

I like watching movies, but it's hard to say which ones are the best anyway... maybe Fight Club or The Green Mile.
