ABOUT ME

well... I don't know... I always wanted to see the world but kinda missed the chance coz I did not have any cash. but hey, now there is cs :)

honestly, I've doing couch surfing for quite a while, since being a kid. but that were youth meetings with the Baptist church most of the time or studying abroad or stuff. so, you were considered trustworthy friends, for going to the same kind of church, or going to any church at least. so, why not be friends now because you need that couch and somebody needs yours?

think that is why I am here. now. to surf and serve (sorry, but such a great pun for a German, isn't it?).

besides, I really cannot think of seeing a hotel from inside for the first 24 years of my life. guess holidays always were camping or couchsurfing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

as allready said, I have been literally surfing couches for all my life, but never considered it couchsurfing in the sense of the project. but it was, and we all did it. so my participation should be to get those friends of mine who gave their couches and pads to me to find sleep at home away from home into joining couchsurfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mombasa, Kenya - couch surfing close to the beach, because the appartment in old town did not have water (and it was way closer to the New Years beach parties)

Zagreb, Croatia - surfing New Years as well, but with 40.000 others all over Zagreb at private homes when meeting with the brothers of Taizé, France

all different places, Germany - wherever there was an event, conference or meeting for two or more days, there was a couch. never seen a hotel from inside the first 24 years of my life
