Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Registered for a bike tour through Germany in 2013 but never had the chance to surf on that trip. Not much chance to surf right now either because the people I travel with are not that much in to CS.
But I try to host as often as I can because I really like to meet new people and love the idea behind CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Still not that much. Only hosted so far but just had really good experiences.

Interests

Lifting and Fitness. I love my bike (mountainbiking and since last summer bike tours). Big moviefreak. Also interested in politics, national and international.
... and of course travelling! Pretty much every free day and money is used to travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

What was pretty cool was a biketour (also the reason I made this account in the first place) from Bavaria to Hamburg. (~1.000km).
No planing or anything, mate and I just realized we had time, bikes and wanted to experience something. So after a few beer we decided we would go on a tour. Had like one more day to get all the stuff together and started without a roadmap or anything. Maps are overrated when you want to go to the ocean, right? Just follow the water! In the end we made it (after 9 days on our bikes + few days breake in Cologne) and went back after a few more days in Hamburg by train.
First time ever I did not plan anything for a trip, but just said fuck it and let's go! Was an awesome experience.
