ABOUT ME

I like to travel, meet new people, see new places and meet other cultures. Actually I haven't traveled that much in my life (at least outside Europe). It wasn't until spring '11, when I took a semester abroad, that I realized how much the world has to offer. There are so many places and cultures in the world that I have to see and experience before I die :-)

And when I'm not travelling, I'm studying Railway Engineering (just finished my Master's and now I'm 1.5 years into my PhD), spending time with friends, playing soccer, biking, having fun (usually includes alcohol) or just relaxing :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Previously I lived in a dorm and didn't have the space for fellow surfers. However, I now have my own apartment (wuhuu!) and will gladly host you. I might also be out traveling in a need for a couch :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had four great couch surfing experiences down the coast of California on a roadtrip with my girlfriend. I think couchsurfing is a great concept and I love how much people want to share. One of my hosts on this trip later came to Denmark and it was a pleasure to host him and be able to give something back.

Interests

Spending time with my friends, family and girlfriend, playing football (soccer), photographing, going to festivals and concerts, experiencing new places and meet new cultures and people from all over the world. I also love to try new things/sports/other activities :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music and films (just not the bad ones ;-) ). Regarding books, I mostly read fiction novels and (sports) biographies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living and studying 5 months in upstate New York. I met so many people from different countries and cultures. I travelled the whole East Coast (almost) and saw so many different things, in such a short time, that it's hard to believe that was I only gone for such a short time.

Teach, Learn, Share

As a true Copenhagener and student I bike a lot and therefore I also have to fix my bike (to expensive to take it to the shop). So if you don't know how to fix a flat tire for example, I will teach you :-) If you are not into the practical stuff, I can always teach you Danish. I also have a guitar I really don't know how to play, maybe you can teach me :-)
