About Me

CURRENT MISSION

A book of my own poetry

ABOUT ME

I'm 33, a professor of Hispanic literature, married, and with two mutts. I have spent long stays in Colombia, Brazil, France, Mexico and Bolivia and have traveled extensively elsewhere. I love literature, teaching, traveling, hiking and cooking vegetarian meals for friends and family. I prefer small gatherings to noisy parties, although I do love to go out dancing. I am equally happy treking the Anapurna circuit as I am in the MOMA. My husband and I just had a son, Mateo, in September.

PHILOSOPHY

From my Quaker roots: Live simply so others may simply live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My husband and I are a multi-cultural couple who love meeting people from around the world and different walks of life. We are interested in sharing a not-so-visited corner of New York City to fellow travelers and to exchange perspectives with others.
