About Me
CURRENT MISSION
living the dream!
ABOUT ME
I am a baroque violinist who has recently moved to Italy (my dream country!) to further my studies. Until just a few months ago, I was an IT consultant, but I've finally taken the plunge to take my music a little further.
Laughing with friends, enjoying a drink or few, going to concerts and festivals, seeing amazing sites, wondering through gardens and towns, eating a fabulous local meal - all things I love to do!
PHILOSOPHY
I want to learn as much as I can from the people who enter my life and the experiences I am fortunate enough to experience. For the few challenges life has thrown my way, I appreciate how much opportunity I have been given in my life, and I want to make the most of this.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Having only heard of couchsurfing now that I am travelling, I am looking to surf the couchsurfing wave for a while. Once I am settled in Milan I hope to host and return the favour to the new friends I make through the CS project.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Whilst I have had no couchsurfing experience through this website, having lived in sharehouses for the last 6 years, we have had travellers in and out of our houses for as long as I can remember. I have also crashed on many a friends couch on several occasions while travelling in Australia.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I describe my taste as eclectic. I love anything ranging from renaissance and baroque music to gypsy folk music, tango music, old rock, any kind of world music, reggae, old soul - anything that moves me really!
Movies and Books: I love reading and watching autobiographies to learn from the lives of inspirational individuals. I love finding those movies and books that somehow change your life. After watching or reading them, you know that your life will never quite be the same again. I love to laugh, so funny books and movies are always good too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Making music - it may not seem like something that you would type in this box, but I don't know anything more amazing that I have been able to do in my lifetime...apart from maybe love.
