I'm a positive Danish guy, and I have a great passion for playing and making music. I think meeting new people is enriching in many ways, which is also why I'm on couchsurfing. I like being surprised as I realize that my ideas about someone were completely wrong, and I like getting my horizon expanded.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that the best way of really getting to know a new culture is by living in it - not by observing it from a hotel and a sightseeing bus.

Interests

I really like playing music, whether it's on an instrument or singing. Also I like writing songs, and turning it into music using my computer running Cubase - a piece of music production software (DAW).
I like going for a long ride on my bike once in a while. I usually get on my bike, and just leave for 4 hours without having planned where I wanna go. Just go and see what the trip brings.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While volunteering at a camp for vulnerable young people, I got to talking to a young lady, who had fled from war. She had been bullied in Denmark for sounding funny when speaking Danish, so she had never in her life raised her hand in school. We ended up talking for a long time, and I convinced her, that the bullies were the pathetic ones - not her. In tears, she said that because of me, she now believed in herself again, and that she had regained courage to speak Danish. Not only did I help her; she gave me a wonderful experience too. I can't describe how wonderful it feels, knowing I have made a difference in someone's life like that.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach piano, guitar and basic Spanish. But if you are fluent on Spanish, I would be very eager to learn.
I used to be a voluntary homework helper in maths at high school, and I was actually offered a job. So, I can teach that as well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm very empathetic and caring. I'm always eager to learn new things and challenge myself, and I will do my best for us to have a great time.
I can teach piano, guitar and basic Spanish.
Also I will be more than happy to help with cleaning, buying groceries etc.
