ABOUT ME
This is a profile for both Véronique Morier and Tom Beaman. We live together in Montreal, Canada, studying our respective crafts. Veronique is an illustrator and animator, and Tom is a photographer.
There's not a lot to say about us, you kind of have to meet us. We're really pretty genuine and honest, and for the most part we're just goofy. We're a little shy too, but we have a love for life, and we want to share it with as many other interesting people as we can.
PHILOSOPHY
We're the kind of people that don't really have a lot of strong opinions one way or another. We're the ones that appreciate all points of view and try to find a middle ground.
Aside from that, we find it important to be positive but realistic.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
A friend recommended we check this out because we were planning a trip to New York, so we're just starting out here, but we like the concept and hope to begin participating more soon. We're interested in both surfing and hosting. We have a lovely place in the great city of Montreal, and would be happy to have people here.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Again, nothing yet, but hopefully soon!
Interests
Aside from our studies in animation and photography, we enjoy travelling together, cooking food, being lazy, doing hot yoga, sitting in parks, eating in restaurants, spending time with our family (gasp!) and friends, and just generally making the most of life. We probably spend most of our time watching Six Feet Under and eating food that's bad for us. Veronique also likes to dance and sing karaoke, but Tom only enjoys those things reluctantly, or when slightly tipsy.
