ABOUT ME

Launa Sorensen published her first book (The King’s First Journey) in 2006 when she was 17-years-old. Since then she has written and published numerous novels, short stories and comic books. She currently works as an artist, comic book designer, film producer and dance instructor.Launa lives in the Pacific Northwest with her two cats in a beautiful little house named “West.” One day she hopes to have pet chickens and beetles.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe I haven't seen everything yet. I stopped trying to predict what was going to happen in my life a long time ago and it's freed me to explore new experiences and roll with the punches. I think every social issue is everyone's social issue and everything I'm passionate about doing involves learning people's stories and giving voices to people who've been cast aside in one way or another. Everyone deserves to be heard and to feel loved and accepted. I love helping to make that happen. :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

La Push, WA always takes my breath away. Long before the Twilight craze flooded my heaven with vampire-hunting preteens, La Push was my special place to sit by the water, watch the seals and get away from everything. The ocean nearly always leaves me breathless. I'm always up for a trip to La Push.
