I’m Laura and I live in Susa, a nice village near the mountains. I was born in La Spezia, a small town on the sea, so I really had to change my point of view to get used to live in such a different place from my home town! Actually, because of my job, I had to move from town to town many times, so I had to become a very adaptable person. When I was seventeen, I got the great opportunity to live in Canada for 3 months, and that experience totally changed me. That was the moment when I decided I wanted to travel as much as I could, to meet new people and to know new cultures.

I decided to join couch surfing because I love meeting new people and getting the opportunity to know new cultures. Since I can’t travel all the time (unfortunately-or fortunately, depends on the points of view! - I have a job that doesn’t allow me to stay away too much), I thought that hosting people from all over the world could be a great opportunity for me to meet new friends just staying at home!
