To meet locals and like minded people, share experiences. This feels more personal than a hostel or airbnb stay. I like to make friends and embrace other cultures, this seems like an interesting way to travel.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

My most amazing trip was a rail trip across india from Calcutta to Delhi. I found india to be such a colourful and amazing country with many great(and interesting?!) experiences! My highlight was getting a boat alone the Ganges at night finding ourselves in a festival with hundreds of tea lights floating on the river and trying desperately not to fall in! We had seen a dead body being released into the river that day so was more than aware what was in that river. Amazing place though even though I did come back with Typhoid!

I haven't got Typhoid now in case you are wondering, I won't infect your house if you let me stay :)
