About Me
Because I want to study nutricion, I moved to Gießen in October 2019.
Before that, I spend one year living in Sao Paulo, Brazil. My job was to work with childreen from the age of 1 - 6. I lived together with a few other german and swiss people in a poor area of this huge city and we worked voluntary in a project called ARCO. This project has a kindergarden, an after school programm and a programm for women with brutal husbands or traumas.
Living in such a huge city and be part of such an important project showed me, what's really important in life. The people you're surrounded with, the environment and the possibility to grow every day, this is what you need to care about. To do the things you love and you'll find a way to be happy and satisfied.
Grewn up in Schleswig Holstein, in a small town with 380 inhabitants, I finished school with my main emphasis in science. But generelly, I'm more into things like cooking, couple dancing, baking, spending time with my friends, reading (cooking and baking) books, taking a sun shower, picking strawberrys, spending time in nature, hearing podcasts, ...
Or shorter: give me sun, good food and friends and I'll be happy :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travelling ist always an exiting experience, especially when you travel alone. During my time in Brazil, I needed to travel alone to see the country. At first, I was really sceptical if I could do that or if I'll end up lonely somewhere in the middle of nowhere. So I decided to travel with couchsurfing and it was the best decision I could have made!
CS connects people different ages, genders, personalities and living conditions, which makes traveling even more interessting and holistic. You can go deep down into the culture, get to know places "normal tourists" wont see and you have really nice conversations. The people encount you with such a joy and every couchsurfer I already stayed with, helped to make my trip even more wonderfull and unique.

Music, Movies, and Books
Everything could be great in some way, but I really like german music from bands like AnnenMayKantereit, Juju, Dame, Irie Revolte, Sookee, etc...
In generel I prefer rock, punk, and hip hop kind of stuff, but I also like some brasilian music and in some moods even german pop. But good german pop, not Max Giesinger or Fanta4.
