Have realised what an amazing world we live in a little later in life than I would have liked but I'm doing my best to catch up. The last few years I've been on safari in South Africa, visited Iceland in the depths of winter, travelled around New Zealand and Australia for four months and worked in a ski chalet in France for six months. I'm just back from travelling around Svalbard in the arctic circle and my next adventure takes me to South America at the end of September

Tend to read books to make me snooze off so nothing heavy - usually some sort of thriller - which might seem weird when I want it to put me to sleep! Listen to varied music but nothing heavy there either :-) Like watching independent films at the Cameo in Edinburgh - a great retro little cinema which is a pleasure to visit
