Hi there! I'm Laura, I'm a 27 year old from Virginia, USA who has been living in Xela, Guatemala for the past year and a half. I've been working for an indigenous women's empowerment organization and am going to be returning to the USA soon (Dec 2016) to try to find more non-profit work that supports our indigenous brothers and sisters. I am fascinated by culture, music, art, dance, photography, traveling, nature, language, swimming and all other outdoor activities. I'm fun, easy-going, polite, creative, and compassionate.
