Hey I am Laura and I (obviously) love travelling!
I live and study cultural anthropology in a small town named Mainz but I always like to explore new places and to meet new people. I already lived in Thailand for one year and also travelled around Southeast Asia quite a bit but I am just starting Couchsurfing and hope to meet some interesting people from all over the world!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of different music genres and artists but some of my favourites are Fleetwood Mac, Van Morrison, Crosby Stills and Nash (basically everything from the 60s/70s) but also some new stuff like Alvvays, Future Islands or The War on Drugs.
I work at a cinema so I spend a lot of time there and watch many many movies but some of my favourites are Call me by your name, Her, American Beauty, The Shining and Jim Jarmusch Movies.
My favourite author is probably Paul Auster but I also love the bell jar by Sylvia Plath, Lolita by Nabokov or Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in Thailand for one year was definitely one of the best experiences I ever made
