Hey! I'm a silly illustrator with a great love for travel, music and terrible dad jokes.

I love exploring new places, and get very itchy feet staying at home for too long. From cities to the countryside, I'm up for any kind of adventure; and any mishaps or wrong-turns just make me chuckle and give me something to fill the pages of my messy sketchbook.

At the moment I work for a Live TV Shopping Channel in England, designing graphics about exciting hoovers, irons and slip on sandals - but my ultimate goal is to write and illustrate children's picture books.

My boyfriend Jonny & I plan on hanging up our Graphics hats this summer to set off around SE Asia for 5 months, and we'd love to stay in the heart of new places, and meet new friends along the way :)

Sometimes there's something you don't seem to quite get out of a new place from staying in hotels and touristy bits for the entirety of the trip; I'd love to travel alongside new friends who can show us their favourite bits of their home town or city :)

Music:
I love a bit of everything, but have a big soft spot for jazz, swing, crooners and 50s era music. But I also love blues, motown, funk, soul, reggae, punk, alt, rap, indie, acoustic, pop, rock, dubstep etc etc etc

Movies:
Pretty much anything and everything! Comedy, action, drama, sci-fi, romance, musicals, animated films. Plus the occasional bit of horror in a group of friends, when we can throw sarcastic comments at it in abundance until it becomes less scary.

Let's just say every film except Batman Vs Superman.
Let's never talk about that again.

Series:
Game of Thrones, Friends, Preacher, Arrested Development, 30 Rock, 3rd Rock from the Sun, American Horror Story, Breaking Bad, House of Cards, (pretty much most Netflix originals), Fawlty Towers, Vicar of Dibley, etc etc

Books:
I completely adore children's picture books! - Oliver Jeffers, Tove Johansson, Mick Inkpen, Chris Haughton, Jon Klassen etc.
Plus any action, comedy, drama and cultural books in the form of fiction. I fall completely in love with a well designed, illustrated and/or beautifully bounded book. Especially old, yellowed, crumpled books!

Here are some of my all time favourite memories of travelling so far :)

Lapland, Finland:
Husky Sledding; Getting stranded on a mountain in the middle of forest-clustered Ruka on a cold, dark, winter night - spotting very cloudy Northern Lights with one of my best friends; Sitting in plastic trays in the snow on an overhang overlooking the forest and a tinge of a winter-sun sunset, sketching with numb hands whilst listening to Christmas music.

Tocco Caudio,Italy:
One of my fondest childhood memories: Eating fresh, stone-baked pizza outside on a warm night with lots of loud, laughing family in amongst the mountains near barely populated Tocco.
