Hi ☀️

I’m Laura, from Covilhã, which is a small town in Portugal surrounded by nature and cool temperatures. I’ve always been a bit unpredictable – one day competing in Modern Pentathlon, the next in the School Youth Parliament. But my true passion is storytelling through visuals. ✨
I studied Cinema, and along with my partner in life, we’ve been filming documentaries, music festivals, and capturing the essence of real-life moments ☺️

Right now, we’re taking a break from our audiovisual company after going through a burnout. We received a grant to travel for six months around Southeast Asia with the goal of reconnecting with our creativity. During this time, we’re working on our project “Go with the Slow,” where we’ll be filming documentaries and telling new stories around the world ✨

This is my first time using couchsurfing and I’m excited to connect with new people along the way. ☺️
I believe every experience offers a new story, and I’m always eager to capture the beauty of life – whether through my camera or just by living it. I also dream of having my own little farm someday, but I need to learn more about gardening ☺️

I love meeting new people, discovering different cultures, and sharing moments. And it would be amazing to share some of these moments with u ☀️

So, I’m traveling for six months around Southeast Asia with my partner, and we’re all about having genuine and local experiences. ☺️ We love connecting with people, learning about different cultures, and sharing stories along the way. For us, traveling isn’t just about place, it’s also about the people we meet and the moments we create together.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Movies - I love documentaries and dream of directing one to be shown in cinemas around the world :)
Apart from that, my favorite directors are David Fincher, Tarantino and Gaspar Noé.

Book - The Little Prince is my favorite one, because it was the first one I remember reading, and its simple yet a deep message about love and human connection has stayed with me ever since 🌹 🦊

Music - I can’t choose just a few artists. From Led Zeppelin to Kendrick Lamar, my taste in music is diverse. Since working in audiovisual, I’ve had the chance to meet and collaborate with artists from various genres, so I’ve developed a very eclectic ear.
