I'm Laura, a 24 year old psychology student from Slovenia. I love travelling and discovering new places, different cultures and meeting new people who can show me the world from a whole new perspective. Besides travelling, scouting is my other huge passion. I have been a scout for almost 15 years now. The mounting hikes, evening fires and adventures with my scouting family is how I prefer to spend my time. I also adore going to the theatre with my grandmother. Otherwise I spent most of my time hanging out with my friends, doing sports and trying out new things. I'll always be up to do something funny and goof around. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was introduced to couchsurfing by my friend and ever since I have had some amazing experiences when travelling around Europe with my friends. To me couchsurfing is a really great way to experience the places I visit in a more authentic way and meet with the people who can show me some hidden places I wouldn't find as a tourist. It's is also a great way to create new friendships from all over the world!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to music and I really want to learn how to sing. I don't really have a favourite band since I switch my playlists oftenly. If you know a great band, I would love to hear it out! I also would really appreciate a good movie recommendation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was young I was in a band with for girls and we had one hit, which we performed before a crowd of 3000 people.

In 2022 my friend Viki and I travelled around Africa for 8 months doing volunteer work. Best 8 months of my life :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about scouting: how to start a fire, how to tie different knots or about first aid. I can also teach you how to juggle or ride a monocycle. I can also teach you how to hold some basic chords on my guitar although I do not play very well.
