Our favorite two things in the world are to travel and to meet new people, so what better way to do those two things than Couchsurfing?!

In 2015 we quit our jobs in Portland, Oregon and spent about 3 years traveling the world with my husband, Robert. We have travelled to over 25 countries, did a road trip across the US, and met so many incredible, lifelong friends through Couch Surfing. We spent most of our time in India (about 12 months), exploring the culture and falling in love with it there.

We have taken a break from the nomadic lifestyle and moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. Since moving to Utah, I have LOVED exploring the natural beauty surrounding Salt Lake City. From the red desert, to the lush canyons to the rocky mountains, and the numerous lakes and rivers, there is so much beauty in Utah. I am perpetually dreaming of my next trip!

I love to do anything outside; mountain bike, ski, rock climbing, swim, rafting, trekking, snorkling, running, surfing, kayaking, or simply sitting in a nice park on a sunny day! I love meeting new and friendly people, sharing our experiences and learning about new cultures. I am a pretty chill and easy-going person, and can get along with almost anyone.

I am addicted to two things: coffee and peanut butter. I love a good glass of wine (preferably red) or a gin&tonic (extra lime). Recently became a vegan and am loving it.

I consider myself a free spirit, and I love spontaneity and adventure. True believer in spending your money on experiences, not things! Travel is priceless.

To meet new people from all over the world and to learn about new cultures.

Although it is nice to have a free place to crash, I really love couch surfing for the cultural exchange. I love to meet local people, learn from them, share stories, enjoy time together and to get to know a culture better.

I have been hosted by so many incredibly kind and generous people from around the world, it’s time for me to pay it forward and open my home to others!

Lots of amazing things!

Ran a marathon in the desert in Israel!

Hitch hiked over 4000km in Northern India.

Volunteered at foundation that uses agriculture as a way to empower adults with developmental disabilities in rural Tamil Nadu, India (check them out, The Sristi Foundation).

Partied in Thailand for Song Kran (water festival, basically one huge water gun fight).

Worked at a Camel Safari in Rajasthan, India.

Worked at a hostel in Karakol, Kyrgyzstan.

Spent a summer island hoping in the Caribbean off of Panama (San Blas Islands).

Have completed two 10-day silent meditation courses - Vipasana

Hitch hiked from Vienna to Istanbul

Good company, good laughs and hopefully a new friendship! I hope we can learn from each other. I love to cook and bake, so maybe we can do that together. My boyfriend and I can cook yummy Indian or Israeli food.
